Good solid hotel. A pleasant hotel, which you can tell in some places that it has seen more modern/better times, but despite the old-fashioned charm, or rather because of it, it is recommendable. The breakfast was standard, but I have rarely received such a cheap breakfast (5 €/p) in a hotel, great! The location, somewhat on the outskirts of the town of Witzenhausen, is not ideal, but the town is also not that big that you can easily walk to the center in 10 minutes. Highly recommended for occasional guests, passing through or visitors to the city!

Rooms were clean, but a little more modern decor would be better. Service very nice. Easy to reach center on foot, approx. 15mi.

The hotel is not in the city center, but right next to the outdoor swimming pool. Our room was good, the beds were comfortable, the breakfast was plentiful, the boss was friendly and very accommodating, the staff helpful. We really enjoyed it and will be back for the next cherry blossom season!
